Thermal insulating ceramic paint, a water-based insulator that with a small thickness protects against thermal excursion and can replace traditional insulators.
Isollat 02, a thermal insulating ceramic paint, has been specially designed to thermally insulate surfaces: it reduces thermal dispersions, resolves thermal bridges and the formation of condensation and mold, protects materials from corrosion, protects artifacts from heat.
Isollat 02 is a formulation of ceramic and silicone microspheres with a reduced internal pressure compared to atmospheric pressure - hence a very low thermal conductivity - resulting in a light thermal insulating material, and it is possible to produce it in the form of a putty or a paint. . It contains 80% of ceramic and silicone microspheres, respectively with a diameter of 10 ÷ 30 μm and 50 ÷ 80 μm, and 20% of acrylic resins.
Its thermal conductivity is in the range 0.001 ÷ 0.0015W / m • K, ie 23 times less than air.
Isollat 02 allows you to save between 25% and 40% compared to conventional thermal insulators and, moreover, its maintenance compared to these is very low.
For comparison, 1 mm thick Isollat 02 has the same efficiency 8 ÷ 10 cm as a traditional thermal insulator such as rock wool; this reduction in thickness of the order of 100 times also has the advantage of not reducing the useful space of the rooms where it is applied. Once applied, no further coatings of thermal insulators are required, which it completely replaces.
It can be applied to all surfaces: metal, concrete, brick, plaster, plastic, glass, wood, etc.
Since it is impermeable to the polymer used as a binder, we have the additional effect of waterproofing the surfaces.
Isollat 02 is long-lasting and resistant - due to its flexibility - to mechanical actions, sudden changes in temperature and ultraviolet rays, and does not require additional coating layers for thermal insulation of pipes or protective plasters for thermal insulation. of building structures.
If mechanical damage occurs (damage to the coating, repairs to pipes, etc.) Isollat 02 is easy to restore, unlike conventional thermal insulation.
Isollat 02 can operate at temperatures between - 60 ° С and + 250 ° С, so it can be used where polyurethane foam and other polymeric thermal insulators cannot be used.
Furthermore, it is not flammable, so it can be applied without any problem in places where there is a danger of fire. When dried, it is practically inert to the action of acids, bases and solvents.
Isollat 02 is formulated entirely with non-toxic compounds, so it has no limits of use even in particularly delicate places in terms of emanations of toxic or unwelcome substances, such as environments where food substances, drugs, interiors of schools, hospitals are handled. , etc.


The surfaces of metal, reinforced concrete, masonry, plaster, plastic, glass, wood and other materials where Isollat 02 is to be applied must be free of dust, dirt, grease or other contaminants that could reduce the adhesion of the product.
If the surfaces are very dirty, it may be necessary to clean them with a pressure washer or other means.
Isollat 02 is able to adhere to plastered or reinforced concrete surfaces without first applying a primer.
Application conditions: if it is necessary to obtain a smoother surface, add water up to a maximum of 5% of the volume of the paint (no more than 50 ml per 1 l of paint).
The paint must be applied at air and surface temperatures greater than 5 ° C and less than 150 ° C, and relative humidity within 75%. Each application coat must not be thicker than 0.5 mm, with the following drying times:
- not less than 24 hours for air and surface temperatures greater than 15 ° C;
- not less than 36 hours for air and surface temperatures between 5 ° C and 15 ° C.
It is possible, with suitable precautions ( consult our technicians in advance ), also to apply the product when the air temperature is -25 ° C. The tools used for the application can then be washed with water.
As it does not contain solvents and other toxic substances, no particular safety measures are required during application.
Storage conditions: at temperatures between 0 ° C and 37 ° C, for a maximum of 12 months unopened.
